We met as fellow balloon artists—two women navigating solo entrepreneurship, growing businesses from our garages and basements, chasing deadlines, dreaming big, and trying to make it all work. What started as industry camaraderie quickly evolved into something deeper: a friendship built on shared values, late-night voice notes, honest conversations, and a vision for something more.
We realized that while we’d both found success in our individual businesses, there was a gap in the creative industry—no one was talking about what happens next. What happens if we step away? What if we want to sell?
What if life takes a turn?
That’s why we created Small Business Legacy—a space to have the real conversations, create real systems, and offer real tools to help creatives build businesses that can outlast them. Together, we blend Jenny’s imaginative, design-led vision with Briana’s love of systems, structure, and sustainability.

Briana Silvio
Briana Silvio is the powerhouse behind Elevated Impressions, a fast-growing balloon décor and event rental company that’s redefining celebration experiences across five New England states. Born and raised on a farm in Maine, Briana built her business on grit, heart, and hustle—launching from her basement in 2019 to now leading a talented team of full- and part-time staff.
Her love of systems, operations, and community leadership has earned her major recognition—including the Spirit of ILEA Award, SCORE’s Small Business Excellence Award, and features in Cape Cod Life and Cape & Plymouth Business Media.
Briana has taught and spoken at national industry events like Balloon Boss Summit, Betallic Balloonathons, and is frequently invited to speak on business growth, branding, and innovation. She’s also a passionate philanthropist, donating over $33,000 to local nonprofits and schools in 2024 alone.
At home, Briana shares life with her husband Billy and their sparkly six-year-old daughter, Aria Pearl—and somehow still manages to elevate both events and lives with equal grace.
Jenny Porter
Jenny Porter is the imaginative force behind Three Sparrows Balloons, an award-winning balloon artistry studio based in Oshawa, Ontario. A visionary designer and international instructor, Jenny transforms ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences—one balloon at a time.
Since launching her business in 2017, Jenny has earned global acclaim as an international balloon award winner. Her work has been featured in leading magazines, movie sets, and party showcases like Kara’s Party Ideas, and she’s dazzled guests at large-scale corporate events across North America.
Operating out of a whimsically transformed garage studio at home, Jenny is a solo entrepreneur with a wildly creative soul. She’s known for her bold designs, technical mastery, and a philosophy that every day should feel like Taco Tuesday.
When she’s not ballooning, Jenny is soaking up life with her easygoing partner Frank, their identical twin girls, two step-kids, and their two high-energy Aussie Doodles, Maggie and Pickles.
